Better with friends.
Create a private daily puzzle competition. Pick your games, invite your friends and compare results—even when you play at different times.
Create or join a competition →1. Pick your games
Sign in and name your group. As admin, you choose which games count and manage the members.
2. Invite your friends
Invite by username or email, or share one group link with several friends. They can sign in or create an account to join. Keep the link private: anyone with it can join.
3. Play when it suits you
A new daily puzzle becomes available at midnight in America/New_York (Eastern Time, including daylight saving time). Everyone plays the same dated puzzle; refreshing or a website update does not create another set for that day.
Open Your competitions and choose a group for its games, results and medals.
Results & medals
Compare guesses, mistakes or times game by game and day by day. A separate medal table shows gold, silver, bronze and totals for today, this week, this month or all time.
Each game has its own scoring measure. Exact ties share a medal. Unsolved results do not earn a ranked finish. In the Mini Crossword, using a check marks the run as assisted: the time remains visible, but it is not eligible for ranking or medals.
Once a result is locked, playing again is practice and does not replace your original competition score.
One group. Two different ways to win.

Maya and Eli each earn one gold and one silver. Sam’s assisted crossword time is kept, but it does not outrank an unassisted finish.
Before your first competition
Can we play at different times?
Yes. Everyone gets the same daily puzzle for each game. Play whenever it suits you before the next daily reset; you do not need to be online together.
Can I share one invitation in a group chat?
Yes. The group admin can copy a reusable invitation link and share it with several friends. New players create an account and join through the invitation. Anyone with the link can join, so only share it with people you want in the group.
Where do I find yesterday’s scores?
Open Your competitions, choose your group, then open Game-by-game results. Choose a date to compare guesses, times and results. Medal standings are separate, so you can check scores without adding detail to the medal table.
Can I change which games we compete in?
The group admin can add or remove games in the group details. Only the selected games count for that group’s medals; you can still play the other games on your own.
Do hints or replays change my ranking?
In the Mini Crossword, Check letter, Check word and Check grid make the run assisted. Its time stays visible, but it cannot earn a ranking or medal. Playing again after finishing is practice and does not replace your locked result.
Do I need an account?
Play solo without an account. Sign in for competitions and synced completion checkmarks. Your group sees your username and competition results.
